• Small Groups. Small Groups are the heartbeat of Risen Church — a place to grow in faith, discover truth, and build meaningful relationships.
  Groups are available for children, youth, teens, young adults, and adults. Our summer semester continues Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 6:45 PM with a Bake Potato Bar & Salads Potluck before groups begin.

  To register, visit risen-church.org/events or scan the QR code on the seat near you. Want to bring a dish? Sign up at the Welcome Area in the lobby.

• Foundation Classes. Risen Church is excited to offer FREE Foundation Classes, designed to help you build a strong foundation in your walk with Christ. These classes will cover various topics to help you grow in your faith journey.

  Join us for our upcoming class, “How To Be Filled With The Holy Spirit”, on Wednesday, July 30, at 7 PM via Zoom.

  To register, sign up today by scanning the QR code on the seat near you or visiting risen-church.org/foundation. All classes are open to both Risen members and the community.

• Risen Church Christmas in July Giving Campaign. Risen Church is committed to being a blessing to the Florence community once again through our Christmas in July Risen Giving Campaign. This year, we will be supporting Manna House in their mission to provide for a hunger-free Florence, SC.

  Throughout the month of July, we are collecting essential pantry and hygiene items to help Manna House continue their impactful work. Stop by the Welcome Desk to get a list of the needed items, and let’s come together and bless the Florence community!

• Unmute Jesus Challenge. We are unmuting Jesus as part of the 50K Jesus Challenge. Our goal is to talk about Jesus 50,000 times from June through December.

  Romans 10:13–14 reminds us of the pattern: Hear. Believe. Call. Be Saved.
  But it all starts with someone hearing the name of Jesus  and that starts with us.

  From July 19th to the 25th we had 157 mentions of Jesus. We encourage everyone to join in and share the number of times you mentioned Jesus by using the tracker at risen-church.org and keep unmuting Jesus.

• Risen Worship Team Audition. Do you love to sing or play an instrument?
  Are you full of energy? Most of all, do you love using your gifts to help uplift others and lead them into praise and worship?

  If you answered YES to any of these questions, we encourage you to consider auditioning for the Risen Worship Team!

  It’s simple: pick up a flyer at the Welcome Desk, follow the instructions listed, submit your audition, and the Worship Team Leader will follow up with you!

• Growth Track. Are you a new member or want to learn more about Risen? Join us for Growth Track classes on the first Sunday of each month. These classes will help you connect with others, grow in your faith, and discover how you can get involved at Risen. If you have any questions, stop by the Next Steps Table in the lobby after service.

• 16th Founder’s Day Celebration.

  Risen Church family, join us on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, as we celebrate our 16th Founder’s Day and honor the leadership of our founders, Apostle Dominic and Pastor Nedra Owens. We are also excited to welcome special guest speaker, Dr. Jay Leourx, as part of this special milestone.

  This is more than a celebration. It is our chance to recognize their faithful service, spiritual leadership, and the impact they have made in our lives. Their vision has laid the foundation for Risen Church, a ministry still changing lives and advancing the Kingdom.

  As 1 Timothy 5:17 reminds us:

  “Let the elders who perform the duties of their office well be considered doubly worthy of honor and of adequate financial support, especially those who labor faithfully in preaching and teaching.”

  How can you participate?

  Be present—your presence shows love, unity, and support.
  Sow a seed—give a special monetary gift as a personal act of honor and gratitude.
